"This was my first time stay a Cambodian restaurant and won't be the last. They do have a lot of similarities to Vietnamese restaurants. We ordered the BBQ beef with tomato rice and the Phnom Penh clear noodle (dry). They still served soup with pork ribs on the side which I consumed separately because I preferred my noodles dry. Both dishes were great. The service was fast and I would recommend giving them a try if you're in Cabramatta and looking for something different to the standard Vietnamese dishes. "Went in for lunch and got the combination fried noodles. Taste wasnt too bad. Wasn’t the best tasting hu tieu xeo/mee ka tung, however it was good enough to satisfy my cravings. My friends got the Phnom Penh noodles which they said was nice, however portion was a bit small. Plenty of seating inside and food came out quick."
"If you're searching for the ultimate culinary experience in Cabramatta, look no further than this hidden gem of a Cambodian restaurant! For over two decades, I've had the pleasure of indulging in their delightful offerings, transcending any expectations of a typical eatery. Originally tucked away in an alley, the lovely aunty who owns this establishment has graciously moved to the wonderful Battambang Restaurant II, making it even easier to access this deliciousness. Let’s talk about that famous dry noodle served alongside a delicious pork broth soup—it’s a symphony of flavors that consistently meets the sweet spot of flavor and satisfaction! I can honestly say that I’ve never had a subpar meal here. The cleanliness of the place reflects the genuine care the owners put into their food, and their humility adds a special touch to the overall dining experience. The best part? You get all this at an incredibly affordable price, making it one of the best values in town. Every bite feels like a warm embrace from home, filled with thoughtfully crafted components that burst with flavor and leave you longing for your next visit. It’s about time I shared my admiration in a review because this treasure has firmly cemented itself in my palate’s memory. Without a doubt, it holds a coveted spot in my top three dining experiences in Cabramatta! Be sure to try the stir fry dishes along with the soups; they won’t just meet your expectations—they’ll exceed them! You can enjoy a satisfying meal starting at just $15, which is truly a steal. Don’t miss out on the chance to savor the best soup around—it’s a taste experience you won’t forget!"
"I want to recommend everyone to try Cambodian food at this restaurant. I always feel warm and welcome whenever I visit. The food and service are superb. Highly recommended!!!"
"This was such a busy bustling restaurant. You know it’s authentic Cambodian when different generations of the whole family comes here to eat from the little kids to the great great grandparents with their walking sticks. Very tight and squishy squashy vibes going on here and everyone talking loudly chatting away. Service was quick and polite. The waitress didn’t take down our order on paper but remembered it and no mistakes were made!! The food was different but great!! We loved all the dishes we tried. The pork bone soup that comes with most of the meals was so so hearty and we loved getting our hands gritty and tackling the actual bone which was in the soup, which you had to pull part to get to the meat (this reminded me of childhood Chinese food). Usually not a fan of offal meat but if you’re up for it, give the deep fried pork intestines a try as it was surprisingly ok (slightly “different” aftertaste)."
"First time I have eaten here and it did not disappoint! I had Phnom Penh Clear Noodle Soup, the Crispy Chicken and a side of fried Intestines, everything was absolutely delicious The lovely staff were so friendly, a special shout out to Mom she is awesome I will definitely be back again with my family Thank you for Amazing food and service"
"First time trying Cambodian food and it was quite fantastic. I never knew about this place given it's on the other side of Cabramatta. You know it's a good restaurant when even the older generation are coming out to eat and catch up. Definitely give this place a try if you're ever in Cabra."
"We visited this famous Cambodian restaurant for quick lunch on recent weekend. We ordered their rice-noodle with fried quail and stir-fried rice-drop noodle dishes. Both dishes are nice and authentic Chinese-Cambodian dishes and we love them. The fried quail were crispy and well marinated, while the rice noodle had good texture and full of garlic oil aroma. The stir-fried noodle were also prepared nicely with nice wok-hei aroma on the noodle and sliced beef topping. The place is quite small and jam-packed with tables so it is quite hard to move around and have proper conversation with your friends while you're having your meals there. Customer services from staff members are reasonable for a casual restaurant in ethnic suburb like Cabramatta, but don't expect much. At least, the staff can communicate in English. The credit card surcharge is an unreasonable and excessive flat amount of $1, regardless of the total dollar amount in your order. Hence, most people including us still choose to pay with cash."
